Why Give to the St. Iakovos Retreat Center? We give with joyful heart to serve and share with others. There can be no greater gift than in the faithful living out the joy of giving, both in service and in our blessings given to us. Our Philanthropic practices model a life of thankfulness and loving one another in Christ.

The St. Iakovos Retreat Center is a home for the parishioners of the Metropolis of Chicago and all guests providing them the opportunity to grow closer to God and each other. It is a place of peaceful retreat from a busy world.

More than ever before, we are in need of a space where all people, young and old, can take refuge, engage with creation, experience God’s presence, and grow in fellowship with one another away from pressures and daily distractions of the world.
